CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Columbus Clippers first baseman Chris Colabello picked up a pair of RBIs on Tuesday night, snapping a season-high streak of eight games without an RBI.
The last time Colabello went at least a week without an RBI (seven games, April 8 - April 14) he followed up with 12 RBIs over his next 12 games (April 15 through April 30).
But Colabello has not homered since April 29 vs. Charlotte (87 at bats, longest homerless streak of his International League career).
Colabello signed a minor league contract with the Cleveland Indians in December.
