CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Carlos Santana has two hits in his first two at-bats, including a two-run home run in the third inning to give Cleveland a 2-0 lead early against Cincinnati.
Santana stepped to the plate in the bottom of the third with Michael Brantley on first base and blasted the first pitch he saw from Reds starter Lisalverto Bonilla down the right field line for his fifth homer of the season.
Brantley had reached base on an infield hit that traveled maybe five feet up the third base line. Santa's blast was measured at 411 feet.
