CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Carlos Santana and Edwin Encarnacion continued the Cleveland Indians' home run parade Monday with back-to-back home runs leading off the fourth inning against Oakland.
A's starting pitcher Dan Mengden served up a 411-foot blast to Santana on a 3-1 pitch. It was Santana's sixth home run of the season, giving him 30 runs batted in.
Encarnacion followed with a mammoth 451-foot bomb to straightaway center field that cleared the back wall of Heritage Park beyond a row of trees.
It was Encarnacion's 10th home run of the season, giving him 21 RBI and an eight-game hitting streak.
