Carlos Santana diagnosed with head contusion after being struck by line drive in Cleveland Indians' dugout

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Francisco Lindor couldn't take his mind off of his teammate's condition.

The shortstop had lined a foul ball into the Indians' dugout, where Carlos Santana sat innocently, watching his team wallop the Angels. The baseball struck Santana on the right side of the head.

Lindor struck out during the fifth-inning at-bat and he swiftly returned to the dugout to check on Santana.

"I feel terrible," Lindor said. "Obviously, I'm not trying to do that. It's a moment you don't want. Nobody wants something like that."

The Indians' training staff helped Santana out of the dugout and back to the clubhouse.
