In a message posted to Instagram this afternoon, New York Mets pitcher Carlos Carrasco said goodbye (excuse me, “see you later”) to the team and city that he has called home since 2009.
Cleveland. I don’t know where to start. You have been my home, family and community since the organization traded for me in 2009. The fans, my teammates, coaches, front office, namely Chris Antonetti, and the Dolan family ownership have made me the player and more importantly the person I am today. You guys have meant the world to me these last 12 years.
