Bullpen Dominant in 4-3 Win

Things got off to a shaky start in Cincinnati on Wednesday night, with the Reds tacking three runs on the board in the first inning against Shane Bieber.

In the first inning alone, the Reds put the ball in play with an exit velocity over 100 mph, including a two-run homer by the recently acquired Preston Tucker.

Bieber managed to survive into the fifth inning without surrendering another run, at which point he handed it over to the Tribe pen.

It’s hard to believe just a few weeks ago the bullpen entering the game in the fifth inning would have meant an almost certain loss.
