CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Bruce Chen is back.
The journeyman pitcher, who ended his 17-year big league career with the Indians last May, has rejoined the organization as a cultural development coordinator. Chen is one of many familiar faces who will assist the franchise in various roles during the 2016 season. On Monday, the Indians announced their staffing for each level of their player development system.
Chris Tremie, Dave Wallace and Mark Budzinski will remain as the managers of Triple-A Columbus, Double-A Akron and High-A Lynchburg, respectively. Tremie directed the Clippers to their third International League championship in the last six years.
