CLEVELAND -- Michael Brantley erased a night's worth of offensive frustration for the Indians with one swing in the bottom of the ninth inning, belting a two-out grand slam against the Rangers.
Facing Rangers' first-year closer Keone Kela, Francisco Lindor and Jason Kipnis connected for consecutive one-out singles, loading the bases. Armed with a 6-2 lead, Kela bounced back by striking out Jose Ramirez -- one of the hardest hitters to fan in the Majors -- to bring Brantley to the plate. Kela then hung an 0-2 curveball, which Brantley sent sailing over the wall in right to pull the game into a 6-6 deadlock.
