Bradley Zimmer celebrated his first home run with a Bash Brothers forearm bump

Related Topics: Bash Brothers, Home run, Mark McGwire

Hey, remember when Bradley Zimmer hit that home run and kind of validated (at least temporarily) all the power hype surrounding him? That was cool. What’s even cooler is mimicking the iconic “Bash Brothers” forearm bump that former Oakland Athletics sluggers Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco used to do when they were crushing home runs and doing other... things... behind closed doors.

After Zimmer hit the first dinger of his career, a shot that was hit almost dead center out of Progressive Field, he went to the dugout and celebrated. First with a forearm bump with his Triple-A teammate Daniel Robertson, and then a standard round of high-fives from his teammates.
