CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Indians named Bobby Bradley and Mike Clevinger the recipients of their minor league Player of the Year awards on Monday.
Bradley was selected as the Lou Boudreau Award winner, which is handed to the top position player in the organization. Clevinger earned the Bob Feller Award, given to the top pitcher in the system.
The Indians acquired Clevinger from the Angels in August 2014 for reliever Vinnie Pestano. The long-haired right-hander posted a 2.73 ERA in 27 outings (26 starts) for Double-A Akron in 2015. He totaled 145 strikeouts in 158 frames and he limited the opposition to 7.
