Adam Plutko was activated from the injured list and made his 2019 debut for the Clippers.
It didn’t go well.
Plutko only managed to get one batter out, getting blasted for five runs (all earned) on two hits and three walks and one strikeout in just 0.1 innings.
On the bright side, Bobby Bradley had one of the best games of his young career, going 4-4 at the dish with two home runs and a double. One of those home runs was perhaps the longest dinger in Columbus history.
Oscar Mercado also had a good game, going 2-5 with a home run and Eric Haase blasted his ninth home run of the season, which is tops in the Tribe organization by a wide margin.
