The Los Angeles Angels scored single runs off Kyle Crockett, Nick Goody and Chris Narveson in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings for a 5-4 Cactus League win over the Indians on Thursday in Goodyear, Ariz.
Austin Jackson and Tyler Naquin homered for the Indians.
Josh Tomlin started for the Indians and allowed three hits in 3u2154 scoreless innings. He didn’t walk a batter and struck out one.
It was the second consecutive good start for the Indians, following three hitless innings from Carlos Carrasco on Wednesday night.
The Indians led 3-0 going to fifth inning but the Angels began a string of five consecutive one-run innings against reliever Boone Logan.
