The win gave the RubberDucks a split of the four-game series against the Mets after they dropped the first two games.

The RubberDucks broke open a scoreless game with four runs in the fourth inning. Outfielder Todd Hankins singled off Mets starter Rainy Lara (3-2, 3.57 ERA) with one out, and a fielding error allowed shortstop Eric Gonzalez to reach base and Hankins to move to second.
