The Cleveland Indians have reached 80 wins on the season after a 6-5 win Wednesday night over the Houston Astros.
Andrew Miller gave fans a bit of a scare by allowing a two-run home run in the eighth inning to cut the Indians’ lead to 6-5, but he was able to get out of the inning, setting up Cody Allen for the save.
Allen came in and got three strikeouts, giving the Indians the win and a 5.5-game lead over the Detroit Tigers in the AL Central.
