Albert Belle, Frank Robinson, Jim Thome, Charlie Jamieson named to Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Now this is a Hall of Fame class.

Frank Robinson, baseball's first African-American manager, Jim Thome, the Indians all-time home run leader, Albert Belle, the most feared hitter of his generation, and Charlie Jamieson, who helped the Indians win the 1920 World Series, will be inducted in the team's Hall of Fame on July 30 at Progressive Field.

Robinson, the only player in history to win the MVP award in the AL and NL, became the first African-American to manage a big league team when he was named player-manager of the Indians on Oct.
