Aaron Civale has solid debut with Lynchburg Hillcats: Cleveland Indians Minor Leagues

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Pitcher Aaron Civale made his debut with the Lynchburg Hillcats on Thursday and was solid in his outing. Lynchburg is the Cleveland Indians High A affiliate in the Carolina League.

Civale went six innings and held Potomac to one run on three hits while striking out five to earn the victory.

Civale, 22, was called up from Low A Lake County where he went 2-4 with a 4.58 ERA. He had 53 strikeouts and only allowed five walks in 57 innings.

The Tribe selected Civale 92nd overall in the 2016 draft out of Northeastern.
