CLEVELAND, Ohio – Our weekly Throwback Thursday series of Topps baseball cards continues with the second half of the 1990s for the Cleveland Indians. It was a great time for the Tribe, who finished in first place every year from 1995 through 1999. The Indians had a winning record every season from 1994 through 2001. Cards were definitely getting slicker and more artistic in this time; gone were the simple bat-on-shoulder poses from the 1970s. (Reminder: The card year is the production year, so 1997 indicates a player’s career up to and including 1996, for instance.)
By far, one of the best photos produced of any Topps set.
