CLEVELAND, Ohio – This week, our Throwback Thursday series of Cleveland Indians Topps baseball cards looks at a dozen assorted rookie, prospects, first-year and future cards, from 1980 to 2016. You can really see the design changes over the decades. A handful of the players featured never made it to the Majors. “Future Star” cards were issued for two players on the 2016 team. (Reminder: The card year is the production year, so 1980 indicates statistics through the 1979 season, for instance.)
Andersen spent the 1975, 1977 and 1979 seasons with the Indians, and would go on to a 17-year big-league career.
