After making a trade with the Detroit Pistons (who held the Milwaukee Bucks’ first-round pick in this year’s draft) for the 30th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers have selected former USC Trojans guard Kevin Porter Jr. with the final pick of the first round.
Porter Jr.’s background story is well-known, as his father was shot and killed when was just four years old. It’s for that reason that Porter Jr. wears the number four jersey.
Averaging 9.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 22.1 minutes per game, Porter Jr. is absolutely oozing with potential.
