CLEVELAND, Ohio – LeBron James is like Oscar Robertson now, in a way no other player in NBA history can claim.
During James' 15-point, 13-assist night in the Cavaliers' 117-103 win over Orlando Monday, he recorded his 6,387th career assist, pushing him past Norm Nixon for 25th in NBA history.
And by passing Nixon, who played in the 1970s and 80s for the Lakers and Clippers, James joined the "Big O" as the only players in the top 25 for career points and assists.
"Honestly, that gives me chills to even hear that," Cavs coach David Blatt said afterwards.
