CLEVELAND -- LeBron James is the second highest-paid athlete in the world according to Forbes Magazine, which included three NBA Finals stars in its top 10.
James earned $86.2 million in the 2016-17 season (roughly the equivalent of fiscal year 2017), with his Cavaliers' salary at $31.2 million and endorsements of $55 million.
The Warriors' Kevin Durant is fifth on the list at $60.6 million ($26.6 million in salary) and Stephen Curry is eighth (12.3 million in salary).
Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest-paid athlete in the world at $93 million in salary and endorsements.
