CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue said before facing the Denver Nuggets that he liked what he saw Thursday night from newly acquired forward Derrick Williams.
Williams was signed to a 10-day contract Wednesday and played without practicing with the team.
The Cavaliers (36-16) return home tonight after a four-game road trip to face the Nuggets (24-29) at Quicken Loans Arena. This is the first meeting of the two teams this season. The Cavs have won 30 of their last 36 games at home against the Western Conference (10-3 in 2016-17).
Denver's Nikola Jokic scored a career-high 40 points last night against the Knicks.
