Tristan Thompson to miss 2-4 weeks with sprained left foot

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson will miss approximately 2-4 weeks with a sprained left foot.

Thompson suffered the injury in the third quarter of Monday's 108-92 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks when he landed awkwardly on Malcolm Brogdon's foot. Thompson tried to shake it off, played a couple more possessions and signaled to the bench before heading to the locker room. He did not return to the game.

An MRI conducted Tuesday morning at the Cleveland Clinic showed no fractures.

Thompson told reporters after the game his foot was "a little sore and swollen.
