CLEVELAND, Ohio -- During the second quarter of Thursday night's game against the Phoenix Suns, Tristan Thompson was going up for his fifth rebound when his left index finger got caught in Tyson Chandler's jersey. He immediately sensed something was wrong.
"I look at my finger and it's doing an alphabet letter," Thompson said after the 118-103 win. "I hear someone on the sideline say my (expletive) is (expletive) up. I was like, geez, can somebody foul so I can get out of here and get this taken care of."
Kyle Korver did. Then Thompson subbed out and sprinted to the back, followed closely by members of the medical staff and General Manager David Griffin.
