CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Wildly successful Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer asked Cleveland Cavaliers' owner Dan Gilbert to speak to his team a couple of years ago.
The coach was impressed, among other things, by the four hours per week, called "Bullet Time," in which Gilbert allowed his top aides to stop what they were doing and think about ways of improving operations at his company, Quicken Loans.
The message was that time is money, but so is thought.
The Letter
How well has that been observed by Gilbert himself, whose ideas and impulses have occasionally smashed together with unsightly, but unforgettable results?
