Do you remember when the Cleveland Cavaliers played in the middle of nowhere -- off a field in Richfield, somewhere between Akron and Cleveland?

Or when Cleveland won the venue trifecta of major league sports -- football, basketball and baseball -- by wooing the Cavs back downtown with a publicly owned arena approved by taxpayers and built next to the ballpark?

Remember this? The Richfield Coliseum, off Interstate 271 in Summit County, opened in 1974 and was demolished in 1999 following the Cleveland Cavaliers' move to downtown Cleveland five years earlier.
