OAKLAND, Calif. -- Stephen Curry has never been the best player in the Finals.
Curry is a two-time champion and twice an NBA MVP, but he's never had those last three letters attached to his name after a Finals.
When the Warriors beat the Cavs in 2015, Andre Iguodala won the award. LeBron James dominated the 2016 Finals and led Cleveland back from a 3-1 series deficit to win it all, so of course he was MVP.
And last year the honor went to Kevin Durant, who was brilliant with 35.2 ppg in the Warriors' 4-1 triumph.
