The Cavaliers, in partnership with Hennessy, teamed up with the Marcus Graham Project (MGP) to host the second annual Sports Marketing Workshop, February 26th through February 29th, as part of the 12th annual Black Heritage Celebration (BHC). The workshop provided 20 diverse Northeast Ohio students and young professionals with the opportunity to learn, network and collaborate with some of the best and brightest in the sports marketing, media and advertising industry.
Applicants from across the region submitted their resume and cover letter for consideration. Twenty were selected based on their knowledge of marketing, fashion, music and popular culture, in addition to their creative spirit and communication skills.
