Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue will return from a leave of absence for Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Lue will be at the game as an observer with the goal to have him coaching before Cleveland's four-game homestand ends April 5.
Lue announced he was stepping away from the team March 19 to focus on his health. He has missed six games since going on leave, with the Cavs going 5-1 during that stretch.
The 40-year-old former NBA point guard explained he was dealing with "chest pains and other troubling symptoms," as well as a loss of sleep.
