After missing five of the last six games with a knee injury, Williams is expected to miss “a couple of weeks,” according to Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue, as reported by Cleveland.com’s Chris Fedor.
Due to his nagging knee injury, which has been diagnosed as chondromalacia patellae, Williams did not travel with the team during the losses to the Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards over the weekend, and will be without the team for a while longer.
“As of right now we just know he’s going to be out for a couple of weeks, getting treatment,” Lue said.
