Report: LeBron expanding program to help adults get GEDs

Athletes aren’t always role models, but Cleveland Cavaliers small forward LeBron James is clearly a man to emulate.

The LeBron James Family Foundation has already established a focus on helping at-risk children in Akron, Ohio, continue their education, and now, the program is expanding to adults.

According to Joe Vardon of the Northeast Ohio Media Group, the foundation has partnered with Project Learn of Summit County, “which exists to help adults get their [general education degrees].”

The absolute coolest part of James’ foundation’s partnership is, while limited to parents of children enrolled in the foundation’s scholarship program, adults are eligible for financial support in this endeavor.
