Report: Cavs’ Matthew Dellavedova out indefinitely, due to concussion

Matthew Dellavedova has been one of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ most consistent players in 2018-19 since he was reportedly traded to Cleveland by the Milwaukee Bucks earlier in the season. For now, though, the steady veteran point guard will be sidelined for at least tonight’s game against the Miami Heat.

Cleveland.com’s Chris Fedor reported that Dellavedova will be in “NBA concussion protocol and will be out indefinitely.”

According to Fedor, the concussion was sustained in the “fourth quarter of Wednesday’s loss against the Brooklyn Nets.”

Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Larry Drew described how it happened (again, per Fedor).
