Ray Allen has reached out to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the hopes of making a comeback and pursuing a NBA Championship, according to ESPN‘s Chris Broussard.
Allen will turn 41 years old on July 20th. The 18-year veteran played two seasons with LeBron James when they were attempting to win championships with the Miami Heat. However, Allen retired before the Heat won their first title with the big three.
Now Allen is considering a return to the NBA, though he never officially retired. He has stayed in great playing shape, according to Basketball Insider’s Alex Kennedy.
