CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Quinn Cook and Eric Moreland, two members of the Cleveland Cavaliers' D-League affiliate Canton Charge, will be heading to New Orleans for the Developmental League All-Star Game during NBA All-Star weekend.
Cook, averaging 25.8 points, second highest in the D-League, will be making his second straight appearance in the annual exhibition. Last year's D-League Rookie of the Year will be part of the 12-man East team, coached by Jerry Stackhouse of the Raptors 905.
Moreland, second in the league in rebounding (11.7 per game) and fourth in blocks (2.3), will be joining Cook.
Nine players with NBA experience have been selected to participate, including Dallas Mavericks point guard Yogi Ferrell, who will reportedly receive a two-year contract following the expiration of his 10-day contract.
