CLEVELAND – LeBron James has a knack for erasing deficits in playoff series, as he has played on two of the 19 teams to ever come back from a 2-0 deficit in NBA history.
In the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals, James propelled the Cavaliers past the Pistons by averaging 25.7 points, 9.2 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 2.7 steals over six games (46.2 minutes). Daniel Gibson (13.5 PPG) and Zydrunas Ilgauskas (12.8 PPG) were the other scorers averaging in double-figures.
In the 2016 NBA Finals, James and Kyrie Irving fueled a rally to storm back from 2-0 and 3-1 deficits and beat the Warriors.
