Back in January 2016 when the Cleveland Cavaliers decided to fire their head coach, David Blatt everybody was certain that they would acquire a big name replacement to match the team’s championship expectations. They promoted Tyronn Lue, who was Blatt’s assistant coach as the head coach of the team and kept on searching for an alternative.
Instead, they decided to keep Lue on board until the end of the season, in which the Cleveland Cavaliers historically won the NBA Championship. During the 2015-2016 NBA Season, the Cleveland Cavaliers finished with a record of 57-25, as Lue was selected as the All-Star head coach for the eastern conference.
