SALT LAKE CITY: A rare winter blizzard is wreaking havoc on Portland and the Cavs’ travel plans early Wednesday morning.
While Portland is getting buried in 4-8 inches of snow, according to The Oregonian, the Cavs are grounded on the tarmac in Salt Lake City following their loss to the Utah Jazz on Tuesday. The Cavs are scheduled to play at Portland on Wednesday.
The Trail Blazers were also grounded at LAX after beating the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday at Staples Center, although a number of players tweeted that they were finally taking off even though Portland’s airport remained shut down.
