Attempting to characterize the Cavaliers’ 2015-16 season isn’t easy.
Coming off last year’s Finals appearance, it’s been a successful season for the Wine and Gold, which sits atop the Eastern Conference standings by 2.5 games and is poised to win 60 games for only the third time in franchise history – all this with their All-Star point guard and top perimeter defender missing the first quarter of the season. The Cavaliers are the East’s most dominant home team (25-5) and have dominated the Western Conference (17-5). Over the course of a recent five-game win streak, no Cleveland opponent held a lead at any point past the first quarter and, over the last four games of that run, no opponent had gotten closer than nine points in the fourth quarter.
