It might be the oldest sports cliché in the book of sports clichés that offense sells tickets and defense wins games. But what’s wrong with doing both?
The Cavaliers have the Eastern Conference’s second-leading scorer who’s also the league’s top fourth quarter scorer. They have a power forward who averages a double-double, a starting 2-guard whose three-point shooting has made NBA history and a point guard coming off the bench averaging 13.0 points per contest. And the man who dropped 57 points on the Spurs in San Antonio last season still hasn’t played a game this season.
If they have to, the Wine and Gold can score with anybody.
