CLEVELAND: The Cavaliers overcame a slow start in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals to trail the Hawks by three points following one quarter at Quicken Loans Arena.
The Hawks jumped out to a 12-4 lead with 7:19 to go in the first quarter. Al Horford scored eight points during the spurt for Atlanta, which started 5-of-8 from the field and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. Cleveland started 1-of-10 from the field and 2-of-2 from the free throw line with Matthew Dellavedova scoring all four points.
The Hawks advantage reached nine points twice, 16-7 and 19-10.
