Mo Williams OUT At Least 2 Games; Update Next Week

Williams has played sparingly since starting for the Cavs to start the year. With Kyrie Irving out, Williams led the first unit and was overall solid in his play. He went to the bench in preparation for Irving’s return and has since lost most of his playing time.

Today we got this email from the Cavs:

Cavaliers guard Mo Williams will not travel with the team on their trip to Toronto and Washington in order to receive additional treatment on his left knee (Chondromalacia). His status will be updated next week.

Williams played at the end of the Cavs last game, in “garbage” time, despite the knee being a concern that has been known.
