Mike Brown's long, strange journey to coaching against Cleveland Cavaliers -- Terry Pluto

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Two years ago, the Cleveland Cavaliers were in their first NBA Finals since LeBron James returned to Cleveland.

Think back to June of 2015, Round One of the Cavs vs. Golden State Warriors.

Now suppose someone said these teams would be playing for the title in 2017 ... for a third time in a row.

Suppose someone said Tyronn Lue would be coaching the Cavs.

I could believe that, too. The Cavs hired Lue and made him the NBA's top-paid assistant, in case Euroleague import David Blatt had problems.
