Sprite is celebrating LeBron James’ third NBA championship — this one ending a 52-year title drought for Cleveland — with a limited edition 16-ounce commemorative can available at various retailers in Ohio this week.
The Sprite-green can — revealed Monday by Coca-Cola Co. — features a graphic image of LeBron, wearing a Sprite-yellow basketball jersey, as well as a white arm sleeve and white headband. His basketball is yellow and green. The can boasts: “LeBron James 2016 Champion. Obey Your Thirst.”
