CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James recognized his wife, Savannah, as an individual who embodies the "spirit of the modern woman" in an Instagram post shared hours before International Women's Day.
James shared a photo of Savannah and himself that was taken Tuesday at a charity event for women in Akron, adding "I am so proud of you & proud to be your side kick (sic)."
Savannah James was honored by the Akron Community Foundation for her work with the I PROMise Makeover which empowers underprivileged girls from Akron-area high schools by boosting their self-confidence and helping them prepare for prom with dresses and accessories.
