LeBron James says his back feels better than it did a year ago

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2015-16 NBA campaign got off to an inauspicious start even before the beginning of the regular season when it was confirmed during training camp that LeBron James received an anti-inflammatory injection in his back, the third such treatment in 10 months.

But James was nevertheless on the court for the Cavs’ season opener and has performed at a high level while leading the team to an Eastern Conference-best 11-3 record. Even better, the superstar insists his back feels better now than it did one year ago.

“I feel better in the mornings; I feel better throughout the games; I feel better throughout the day,” James said before a Cavs shootaround Wednesday ahead of a tilt against the Toronto Raptors, via ESPN.
