LeBron James said if the Cavaliers aren't great, "then I feel like I've failed"

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Since his return to the Cavaliers, LeBron James has declared himself the leader of his team in a way he hadn't previously done during his first 11 seasons.

James' newfound leadership – well, it's not so new anymore, now that he's in Year 2 of Stint 2 with the Cavs – has come with struggles, as he's learned that no two players are the same and he needs to keep his own attitude and patience in check.

On Tuesday, the Cavs will play Detroit in their first game since James questioned his teammates' effort and opined that they've overrated their level of play thus far.
