CLEVELAND, Ohio – LeBron James really didn't like it when the Cavaliers used to leave their sweat-soaked laundry on the locker room floor.
They don't do that any more.
James' fight against the "part-time pros" culture that existed when he returned to Cleveland before the start of the last season is among the highlights of Lee Jenkins' cover story on James for Sports Illustrated, due out Dec. 7.
The story, titled LeBron's Time: Cavaliers star feeling the urgency to bring title to Cleveland, is a commentary on the degree to which James is driven to win here, according to him and the Cavs' players, coaches, and front office personnel with whom he works.
