With the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference still hanging in the balance, Cleveland Cavaliers stars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving will not play Monday's contest against the Miami Heat.
According to the Associated Press (h/t ESPN.com), James suffered a right calf strain, and Irving is dealing with a knee injury "which the Cleveland Cavaliers are calling tendinitis."
The AP noted Irving's knee problem is on his surgically repaired left one.
Cleveland won't have Tristan Thompson available either because of a thumb injury, and Kevin Love was listed as questionable because of an illness.
