Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey was an assistant on the 2011 Dallas Mavericks team that shut LeBron James down in one of the worst playoff series of his career—and easily the most embarrassing.
After thrashing Casey's Raptors yet again in Thursday's Game 2 victory, James admitted he wasn't the same player in 2011 he is now.
"I wasn't that good of a player in that series," James told reporters following the Cavaliers' 128-110 win in Toronto. "I wasn't a complete basketball player. Dwane Casey drew up a game plan against me in that '11 series I played Dallas to take away things I was very good at and try to make me do things I wasn't very good at.
