LeBron James hopes Derrick Williams will be with Cleveland Cavaliers long term

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Derrick Williams has already picked his uniform number, switching to No. 3 after debuting in No. 32, a decision initially made of out time constraints. His locker inside Quicken Loans Arena has been placed directly next to another Arizona Wildcat, Channing Frye, and very close to Richard Jefferson.

Sure, Williams is on a 10-day contract that he signed this week, giving him a brief audition before the Cavs have to make a decision. But it certainly doesn't feel like his stay will be short.

"We hope that this is a long-term thing," LeBron James said following the 125-109 win against the Denver Nuggets.
